Alex Fedosov is a visionary filmmaker whose work bridges the gap between raw naturalism and high-concept cinematic surrealism. With over fifteen years in the industry, his journey began in the independent circuits of Eastern Europe before evolving into high-stakes production in global film hubs. As a director, his style is defined by a meticulous attention to chiaroscuro and atmospheric tension. Fedosov champions bold storytelling and technical innovation, continually pushing the boundaries of the medium to create immersive, unforgettable visual experiences that resonate with a global audience. This year, Alex is also creating AI videos, combining cinematic storytelling with emerging AI tools.

Biography

Oleksii "Alex" Fedosov is a Los Angeles–based producer, line producer, post-production producer and director with more than twenty years of international experience across documentary, television, commercials, music video and scripted film.

Trained in Kyiv (BA in Film and Television Directing, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts) and at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, he began his career directing and editing for Ukraine's leading channels, founded the production company Jazz Production, and directed the eight-part historical docudrama World War I (Special Jury Award, WorldFest-Houston 2015). In Los Angeles he has produced and directed award-winning short films — including Lifeless, Best Indie Film at the Los Angeles Film Awards 2020 — and produced more than a dozen music videos.

Since 2024 he has been Chief of Staff and Line Producer at Global Tree Film Productions, producing All the President's Men: The Conspiracy Against Trump (Tucker Carlson Network), Iran: The Great Game and Serbia: Untold History. He works with OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude and generates AI video with Higgsfield and Magnific. He is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
